Frequent questions

How do I register for the Nova Hub?

To help identify you on the Nova Hub we use the email address supplied when you first signed up to Nova.

  1. Enter your email address in lowercase. 
  2. Enter your Nova customer number, you can find this on the top right-hand corner of your Nova Energy bill.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Create and enter a password, then click Submit.  

A password must contain:

  • Upper case letter
  • Lower case letter
  • Special character (i.e.$, #, @, !, ?)
  • Both passwords should match

I've forgotten my Nova Hub password
  1. If you've already registered your email address, you can reset your password using the Forgotten Password. 
  2. Check your email and enter the 6-digit verification code. 
  3. Sometimes verification emails can end up in Spam or Junk folders, so check those folders too.
  4. Create your new password. 
  5. If you haven’t received this email within 30 minutes call us on 07 306 2700 (or 0800 668 236) or email us.

A password must contain:

  • Both passwords should match

NOTE: Please enter your verification code carefully. After 5 attempts, there will be a 15 minute wait before you're able to attempt access into the Nova Hub again.

I've forgotten my Nova Hub email

To help identify you on the Nova Hub we use the email address supplied when you first signed up to Nova.

  1. If you've already registered but forgotten your email address, click on Forgot Username.
  2. Enter your date of birth (DOB) and your Nova customer number. Then click Continue.
  3. Your email address must already be associated with your Nova account 
  4. A popup will appear indicating that Nova has sent an email to the email address you've registered with us.
  5. If you've recently changed your email address, you must re-register your new email. Please allow 5-10 minutes before attempting to log in again.

I'm unable to see my electricity usage

Monthly, daily and hourly usage information are available for customers with smart meters. 

If you've recently registered to use the Nova Hub, there may be a delay of up to 5 working days for your usage reads to appear.  In some cases, data may be late due to your metering provider or if there are communication issues with your meter.

If you do not see your usage data within a week of registering, call us on 07 306 2700 (or 0800 668 236) or email us.
