How do I set up my own modem or router?

Once you’ve confirmed your modem or router is compatible with our network, you’ll probably need to access the settings and make some changes. Connect your modem or router to a computer using an ethernet cable and enter the IP address of your modem or router into a web browser e.g. Google Chrome. If you don’t know the IP address, check the base of your equipment, the user guide or contact the manufacturer.

Once you’ve logged into your modem or router, use the settings below to configure it.

Remember, we cannot support or troubleshoot WiFi and network performance if you choose to use your own equipment. Also, if you require a VoIP home phone service from us, you’ll need to use the NetComm modem we provide.

If you’re unable to access the internet using these settings, please contact the manufacturer of your equipment for further assistance.
