How do I set up a direct debit?

Online set-up

You can set up your direct debit authority to pay the full amount due each month, quickly and securely online by clicking the button below.

  • You will also need your Nova customer number and your New Zealand bank account details handy.
  • Please allow 5 days before your bill is due to get your direct debit set up. 

Nova Hub set-up 

You can also set up your direct debit authority in the Nova Hub, by going into the Made Easy screen.

If you would like to pay your account by Fixed Direct Debit (fixed amount payable weekly/fortnightly) or just prefer to use a printed form, you can download one here.

Allow 10 days before your bill is due to get your direct debit set up. 

Please note: Credit card direct debit applications need to be returned by post not via email. 

Direct Debit notice period

Customers on monthly billing cycles will normally receive a notice 10 days in advance of a direct debit payment transaction.
